If you’ve looked at the calendar you’ll see that Site 10 is a tad late.

My knee problems turned out to be a little more serve than I hoped and I ended up have ACL reconstruction, so non-essential work has be on the back burner.

But I’m happy to announce the release of the final site in this little project.

Most-Listed — The Internet is For Sale

With the number of sites that I now operate, I’m always more than a little interested in their value, and often found myself browsing the many places to sell websites, and domains. That process was the brain child for this website.

Most-Listed is a RSS aggregator, like the many others that I have built. Most-Listed collects all the for sale listings from popular listing sites, and allows the user to search them, or filter by source, and type of sale item.

It turns out there are lots of things being sold each and every day, so I decided to add a blog to the website to help highlight the more deserving of sale items. I used Wordpress to power the blog rather than just role out my own little blogging engine. I’ve been seeing Wordpress doing some pretty impress content based websites lately and wanted to kick the tires. I’m very happy with the integration of the RSS aggregator, and the blog which will continue to evolve over the coming weeks and months.

Due to a recent bout with a flu and knee problems Site 9 is a little late, but all good things are worth waiting for no?

Although its not totally finished I did want to get it out for the world to see as close to schedule as possible: Most Cooked

Most Cooked is the next generation of RSS aggregators that I am working on, and extension of the Reblogging idea.

Recipes are aggregated from popular cooking and food related sites, and displayed as in previous versions of the RSS aggregator, but to highlight quality recipes a reblogging approach aims to promote the top recipes to the home page, which is inspired by Digg and other social news sites.

The website is being built to be re-usable for other niches, and I have started to extract the software (currently called Republishr) into its own software package, which will be available for others to use. I have not yet decided if this will free or for fee.

Despite the name this is not another RSS Aggregator.

Most Sliced is a directory of design slicing services, along with user submitted ratings and reviews.

There are many design slicing services, you send them a design (usually as a PSD file), along with some payment and they’ll send you back HTML/CSS for your design. But which one is right for you?

They all offer different options in terms of price, or turnaround time, or integration with CMS applications, or which browsers they test the designs against.

A directory to aggregate all the services and options they offer seemed like a good idea. Allowing users to submit their own reviews seemed like an even better idea.

No this website is not for sale.

For Sale By Publisher is a recently launched website containing a directory of websites that sell advertisements on their websites directly to advertisers, as well as a community for website publishers to discuss the direct advertising market.

The Opinion Aggregator

The Opinion Aggreagator was built to allow users to aggregate opinions from authors around the Internet on any topic, and to allow visitors to access those opinions.

Confused? You won’t be.

This months site turned into a bigger project than I had originally planned.

Instead of releasing an incomplete site, I’m going to do a beta release of the website that will be by invitation only, to allow myself the time needed to add the polish and a few more features that I think are needed.

Over the weekend I decided to throw together another RSS aggregator site.

Most Raised — Aggregating parenting advice from around the web

Being a relatively new father myself, I remember scouring the web for any bits of advice on raising a family and at the time navigating pregnancy (well my wifes). The number of parenting blogs has ballooned over the past few years, and so I decided to make this little website to pool all the knowledge into one place.

I’m still working on adding blogs to the aggregator, if have any suggestions I’d love to hear them.

In another case of doing what I need, I am pleased to announce the latest site:

Me In One — A Hosted LifeStream Application

Me In One allows you to aggregate all your content from around the web (blog posts, bookmarks, pictures, etc) into a single place because it doesn’t need to be in 20 different places!

For me with so many sites and blogs, having a single place where people see all my content made a lot of sense.

There are other services like this out there, but I needed something a little simpler than what they offered, does everything need a social network these days?

Although Design By Grid is not officially part of the Every 5 Weeks project, it will have a big impact on the sites that are.

Site 4 is going to be a few days late, client work and rebooting made for a time crunch.
